Bristow High School Sophomore Language Arts teacher Kyla Zapata has been named as one of the top 20 novice teachers in the state of Oklahoma! Mrs. Zapata began her teaching career with us last year. She says, "“I have always had an incredible passion pertaining to the subject of English, from classical literature to grammar in writing. In the same vein, I also had a calling to serve children in some manner. Teaching was the only career in which I could combine my love of both, and so far, it has been one of the biggest joys of my lifetime.” Congratulations to Mrs. Zapata!
