New teachers to the district for the 22/23 school year spent last week at the district’s three day new teacher orientation. During the three day training, new teachers learned about district procedures, various programs implemented at each site, classroom culture, and explored state subject or grade level curriculum standards. Additionally, they met and participated in activities with their mentor teacher who will be their “go to” the first year as they settle into their classrooms. They enjoyed lots of laughter and built camaraderie as they prepared themselves to greet their students on August 11th. BPS is glad they have joined us!
