Bristow qualified nine wrestlers for the state tournament this past week. Six of the nine made it to the podium at the tournament. Bristow crowned our first Girls State Champion, BHS senior, Zoey Freeman.
BHS sophomore, Haydan Yocham, was state runner up losing 3-1 in his finals match to a tough opponent.
BHS senior, Chandler Fortney had a great tournament, placing 3rd overall.
BHS junior, Hank Powell a great tournament as well placing 4th.
BHS freshman Javon Freeman and Kale Fruits both wrested tough and placed 4th, a great accomplishment as freshmen.
BPS is very proud of the hard work these athletes have put in this year! The Bristow Boys Team placed 7th overall out of 29 competing teams. Go Pirates!
