Bristow, OK — July 23, 2025
Bristow Public Schools will be utilizing the Standard Response Protocol (SRP), as part of our ongoing commitment to student and staff safety.
The SRP provides a clear, shared vocabulary and action plan for responding to emergency situations, including Lockout, Lockdown, Evacuate, Shelter, and Hold. This initiative ensures that all students, staff, and first responders are on the same page during any crisis.
“We believe safety is a shared responsibility,” said Safety Director Brian Lomenick.. “By utilizing the SRP, we’re equipping our schools with a proven, nationally recognized system to protect our community.”
BPS encourages parents to familiarize themselves with the Standard Response Protocol in the event of a live incident. More information can be found under the "Parents" tab on our website.
