Bristow Public Schools Lights Up the Competition with Friday Night 5G Contest Entry
Bristow Public Schools is joining the nationwide excitement by entering T‑Mobile’s Friday Night 5G Lights competition, a spirited initiative empowering schools in small towns (populations under 150,000) to compete for a transformative football field tech upgrade.
This year’s contest gives schools a chance at weekly $5K Fridays sweepstakes, as well as the possibility of being named one of 25 finalists—with each finalist receiving $25,000 plus a festive “Magenta Home Game” celebration. Bristow has thrown its hat in the ring by submitting an application that highlights its school spirit, community pride, and compelling need for enhanced athletic infrastructure. Bristow has won a $5K Friday from the contest and now needs the community's help to make it the next level of $25,000.
What’s at stake? The grand prize winner receives a $1 million home field upgrade, a weight room overhaul from GronkFitness.com, a consultation with stadium experience experts, and a tailgate reveal in 2026—on top of a VIP trip to the SEC Championship Game.
