The Collins' Veterans Day program presented by fourth graders will begin at 9:30 am on Tuesday, November 11th
We are honoring veterans at Collins. If you have a picture a family veteran, please make a copy of the photo and send it to school with your child to give to Mrs. Banks. Please include the name of the veteran. We would love to display all the photos in our school common area.

Next week is Fall Break! Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025 is a Teacher PD day....no school for students. Fall Break begins Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025. School resumes on Monday, October 20, 2025. Money from candy sales may be turned in at any time by sending it with the student or you may bring it to the office, if you would like. Thank you all for the great participation.
Parent Teacher Conferences are October 13th and 14th. Parents can contact their child's site to sign up for a conference time.

Homecoming Parade!
The homecoming parade will be this Friday, October 3rd. It begins on Main Street at 2:15 p.m. Please check your child out by 1:30, if you are taking them to the parade. Please check your child out before the parade and not after, to avoid traffic issues. Teachers will not be checking students out on Main Street. All football players and cheerleaders (with a permission slip) will be checked out by their coach and they will be returned to school following the parade. We will have our regular release time at 3:10 and all bus routes will run on time.

There will be an Indian Education Committee meeting on Wednesday, October 1, at 5:45 at the administration building at 420 N. Main. We will approve the Grant Performance Report and the JOM Annual Report at this meeting.
