Congratulations to the Collins Teacher of the Year and the Support Person of the Year!
Our 2026 Teacher of the Year is Matthew Cook. Matt is an integral part of our staff. He works diligently to help students learn and be successful. We are proud of the work he does and to have him as a member of our team.
Our 2026 Support Person of the Year is Martha Lawrence. She is dedicated to Bristow Schools and is a hardworking member of the Collins team.
The two were honored in an assembly today.
We are grateful to have both of these Pirates in our building.

It's that time of year! Just a reminder that the Pre-K storm shelter, located at 119 W 9th, will be open whenever 1) there's a severe thunderstorm warning two counties away, or 2) there's a tornado warning in Creek County.

Bristow Public School Parents — You’re Invited!
Our CareerTech programs are growing, and we would love for you to come see the incredible opportunities available for your students!
🎓 CareerTech Open House
📅 March 10
🕔 During Parent-Teacher Night in the Commons
All CareerTech programs will be on display, with teachers and students sharing what these pathways offer and how they are helping students build real-world skills for their future.
✨ Featured CareerTech Pathways:
✈️ Aviation
💻 Computer Science
🌾 Agriculture Education
🔬 STEM
🍳 Family & Consumer Sciences
✨Family & Consumer Sciences Update:
I have created flyers for middle school students that include QR codes to apply for select classes with limited enrollment. 👀👇🏻
👗We are excited to be adding a brand-new Fashion Lab to our Family & Consumer Sciences classroom!
This dedicated space will allow fashion students to:
✔ Learn fashion design and construction skills
✔ Create projects throughout the year
✔ Showcase their work in our end-of-year Fashion Show
Because space is limited for the MS and Fashion classes, students must apply. We are looking for students who want to grow their skills and make the most of their time at school. These are classes I would have loved to be part of as a student, and I’m so excited our kids now have this opportunity!
🍪 Stop by for finger foods, drinks, student displays, and lots of great things to see and learn.
We hope to see you there!
