Bristow Public Schools was recently made aware of a social media post referencing BPS alongside several other school districts across the state. Law enforcement has investigated and determined that this threat originated in the UK..
Out of an abundance of caution, the Bristow Police Department has been notified and will be actively patrolling our school sites.
The safety and security of our students and staff remain our highest priority. Should circumstances change or additional information become available, we will notify families promptly.

Practicing different safety drills, help students and staff know what to do during an emergency. Regular practice builds confidence reduces confusion and helps keep everyone safe. We are also very fortunate at BPS to have our own security officer on duty throughout the school day, helping ensure the safety of our students and staff. 💜💛🏴☠️

✨ LOTS of fun in 2nd grade! ✨ Even with the heat outside, we’ve been keeping busy inside! From creating our own shape monsters, to building STEM towers with spaghetti and marshmallows, practicing math with dice games, and moving and relaxing with Cosmic Yoga! 🧘♀️🎲👾🍝 Our classrooms have been full of creativity, teamwork, problem solving, and learning!

⚠️ ECC POWER OUTAGE UPDATE ⚠️ The electricity is currently out at ECC and Edison sites, which means our phones and other forms of communication are not working at this time. If you would feel more comfortable picking up your child, you may do so. Please be patient with our staff as we work through dismissal without our normal communication systems. 📢 New Student Enrollment Starts Today, July 27! 🏫
If your student attended Bristow Public Schools last year, there is nothing you need to do. Your student is already enrolled, and updated paperwork will be sent home on the first day of school, August 7.
If you are enrolling a new student, please stop by the specific school site your student will be attending to enroll:
• Edison Early Childhood Center: PreK-Kindergarten
• Edison Elementary: 1st – 2nd Grade
• Collins Elementary: 3rd – 5th Grade
• Bristow Middle School: 6th – 8th Grade
• Bristow High School: 9th – 12th Grade
