The Pre-K classes are going to be hosting a cookie sale on Friday, September 22nd.. Our cookie profits will be going to The Children’s Hospital/St. Judes in Tulsa. The cookies are a quarter each. If you would like to send extra money you may do so for our donation jar. BE SURE AND PUT A NOTE WITH THE MONEY SO THAT THEIR TEACHER WILL KNOW IT’S A DONATION. Last year we raised over $1800, so we would LOVE to be able to beat that amount. Each child only gets one cookie, even if they pay additional money. We are making the donation to the hospital in recognition of Karson Hogan, Kian Darnell, Natalie Sanders, and Brady Glisson. Karson is in 4th grade this year and is a survivor of kidney cancer. Kian Darnell is a Kindergarten student this year and is a survivor of Leukemia. Natalie Sanders is in 1st grade and is currently receiving treatments for a brain tumor. Brady Glisson is in 7th grade and is currently receiving treatment for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and nearing completion of his chemotherapy. They are all fighters and survivors of cancer thanks to the research and treatments provided by the Tulsa Children’s Hospital/St. Judes. Pre-K is trying to cure cancer one cookie at a time. Thanks for all you do!!!!
