🅝🅝🅝 Letter N fun! 🅝🅝🅝
Mrs. Plum’s class got creative by making necklaces to celebrate the letter N! Threading helped strengthen little fingers while turning learning into something fun and memorable. 💛

✨ From Monsters to Masterpieces! ✨
Last week, during letter M, Mrs. Mattox’s Pre-K class drew monsters 🧟♂️🎨 — and this week, those monsters came to LIFE!
Our Pre-K students collaborated with the high school art class to transform their monster drawings into clay creations. Using clay, imagination, and teamwork, they turned their ideas into something truly special. 🖐️✨
We love seeing creativity grow and partnerships across grade levels—such a meaningful and memorable experience for everyone involved! 💚

Friendly reminder for our Pre-K students to wear NEON colors as we celebrate Letter N with a fun Neon Day!
Let’s make it bright and fun! ✨

✨ Pre-K Learning Fun This Week at ECC!
Our Pre-K friends have been busy learning all about the letter N!
👉 Mrs. Mattox’s class got creative by making noodle necklaces while practicing fine motor skills and exploring things that start with N. 🍝💛
👉 Mrs. Mattox and Mrs. Watts’ class put their noses to work during a fun sensory activity! They smelled different scents, worked to match them up, and enjoyed exploring neon noodles for hands-on sensory play. 👃🌈
We love learning through play and engaging all our senses in Pre-K!

🌟 Board Appreciation Month 🌟
We are incredibly thankful for our School Board Members and all they do behind the scenes to support our school, staff, and students. Your commitment makes a difference every single day. Thank you for serving our school district.

📚✨ Second graders stepping up in a BIG way! ✨📚
We love seeing our students grow in confidence and leadership! Today, one of our second graders took on the role of guest reader, sharing a story with younger friends. 💛
Moments like these build confidence, encourage responsibility, and show our younger students just how exciting reading can be. We are so proud of our second graders for being such wonderful role models! 🌟📖

❄️☃️ ECC has SNOW much fun! ☃️❄️
Our kindergarten and T-1 team s are trying really hard to bring on the snow!
Mrs. Balenti’s class turned into little scientists as they created a blizzard in a jar, watching the “snowstorm” swirl right before their eyes. 🌨️🔬
Meanwhile, Mrs. Baker’s friends were busy building snowmen, playing in the snow, and crafting beautiful snowflakes—all without the cold fingers! ❄️🎨
Winter fun, hands-on learning, and lots of smiles filled our day! 💙✨

🎩 Mustache you a question… what letter are we learning?!
It’s M of course! Our pre-K friends jumped right back into learning after winter break and rocked some mighty fine mustaches while mastering the letter M. Way to start the new year strong! 💪

Christmas Break Dec 20th-Jan 4th.

🎄✨ Merry Christmas from all of us at the ECC! ✨🎄
Our hearts are full as we wrap up this special season. We wish all of our ECC families a joyful Christmas, a safe and restful break, and lots of special moments with loved ones. ❤️
Enjoy every minute, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back in January with big smiles and open arms!

Mrs. Jones’ class had a sweet time!
Her students enjoyed hands-on fun with shaving cream play and used ice cream cones to create festive Christmas trees to decorate. The excitement was even bigger when we had a few special visitors stop by to join in the fun! 🎅🎄
Learning, creativity, and lots of smiles made for a memorable day at ECC! 💚

🎄✨ Guess who stopped by ECC?! ✨🎄
Elfie B, the Gingerbread Girl, and Santa himself made a special appearance to spread smiles, laughter, and a little extra Christmas magic! 🎅🍪❤️
Our halls were full of excitement, joy, and wide-eyed wonder—what a sweet surprise for our ECC friends!

🎄 ECC Field Trip Fun! 🎄
Our ECC students enjoyed a festive field trip to Molly & Socks Christmas Tree Farm, where holiday magic was everywhere! Students had the opportunity to visit with Santa, enjoy face painting, explore the beautiful Christmas trees across the farm, and have fun in the play area.
To top it off, everyone warmed up with delicious hot chocolate while making special holiday memories with friends and teachers. Experiences like these provide meaningful, hands-on learning and create joyful moments for our students during the Christmas season.
Thank you to Molly & Socks Christmas Tree Farm, our families, and staff for helping make this special day possible! 🎅🎄❤️

Today Mrs. Lomenick and Mrs. Baker took a special trip to the local Bristow Rt. 66 Toy Museum to mail their Santa letters! The students were so excited for this festive adventure. While they were there, they enjoyed a tour of the museum and took lots of fun photos. After mailing their letters, each child was surprised with a candy cane as a sweet holiday treat.
On their walk from the museum back to school they also stopped by the town Christmas tree and the beautiful Rt. 66 mural to take more pictures. It was a wonderful and memorable day for all.

🫢🍪 The Gingerbread Man is on the Loose in Pre-K! 🍪🫢
Our Pre-K students walked into quite the surprise over the last few weeks… the Gingerbread Man has ESCAPED and is running wild around our school! 🏃♂️✨
The kids have been busy setting traps, following crumbs, and checking every hallway, office, and classroom trying to catch him. Who knows where he’ll pop up next?! 👀
Stay tuned—our little detectives are on the case, and we’re determined to catch that sneaky cookie!
