💜 CHANGE FOR A CHANGE! 💜 Our Bristow High School students are participating in Change for a Change, and they have asked all school sites to join them in supporting this amazing cause! We are excited for ECC to help give back. 💜 From October 5th–9th, send all that extra pocket change you have lying around! Pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters—we’ll take it all! 🪙💰 Let’s see which class can collect the most money! The winning class will receive a special prize! 🏆 All money collected will benefit OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center and help provide much-needed resources and assistance to cancer patients, giving them something even more valuable—hope. Stephenson Cancer Center serves patients from communities across all 77 Oklahoma counties. Every little bit adds up, so check those couch cushions, empty those change jars, and dig through those cup holders! 💜 Small change can make a BIG difference! 📚💜 ECC Teachers Supporting FCCLA! 💛📚 Our Bristow High School FCCLA’s Reading on the Field event was originally scheduled for tonight, but due to the weather, this big event has been postponed. We know they have worked hard to put together a wonderful evening celebrating reading, and we can’t wait to see it happen on the rescheduled date! As FCCLA prepared for the event, they reached out to our community and teachers for help collecting books—and our ECC teachers stepped up! 💜 A special shout-out to Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. Beard, and Mrs. Plum for being three of the top book donors, with Mrs. Plum donating the most books! 📚👏 We love seeing our Pirate family support one another. Whether it’s our high school students putting together a special event for younger children or our teachers helping provide the resources to make it happen, it’s a great reminder that we are all part of one Pirate community! 💜💛 Great job, ladies, and great job to our FCCLA students for all the work they have put into Reading on the Field! We look forward to the new date! 📚🏴‍☠️

💜💛 Happy Custodian Appreciation Day! 💛💜 Here at ECC, we are blessed with two of the very best! 🧹✨ Mrs. Wendy and Ms. Amanda, you are both such wonderful assets to our Bristow ECC faculty team. You go above and beyond each and every day—not only keeping our building sparkling clean, but also jumping in and helping wherever you are needed. So much of what you do happens behind the scenes, but please know that it does not go unnoticed. We appreciate your hard work, your willingness to help, and everything you do to make ECC a great place for our Little Pirates! 🏴‍☠️💜 Thank you, Mrs. Wendy and Ms. Amanda! 🍩 D is for DONUT! 🍩 Last week, Mrs. Plum’s Pre-K class wrapped up their learning about the letter D in the sweetest way! 💜 Our little Pirates had so much fun decorating their very own donuts—and of course, enjoying their delicious creations afterward! 😋🍩 Learning is always a little sweeter when donuts are involved! 💜💛 #ECCPirates #PreKFun #LetterD #DIsForDonut #LearningIsSweet

🦆💛 D is for DUCK! 💛🦆 Pre-K had another special guest this week as we continued learning all about the letter D! Ms. Ashley brought two of her sweet baby ducks to visit our little Pirates! 🥰 Our friends loved getting an up-close look at these adorable little visitors. We sure do love bringing our letters to life with fun, hands-on experiences! 💜💛 D is for duck, and these two were definitely a hit! 🦆🦆

🍌🥄 YUM! 🥄🍌 Mrs. Wilson’s class has been having so much fun with different food experiences this year! Today, our little Pirates got to roll up their sleeves and make their very own banana pudding! 💛 There’s nothing better than learning through hands-on experiences—especially when you get to eat the results! 😋🍌 It was definitely a YUMMY day in Mrs. Wilson’s class! 💜💛🏴‍☠️

💜💛 What a blessing this morning! 💛💜 11 of our Little Pirates were so brave as they stood in front of nearly 50 of their peers, teachers, parents, and community members and led ECC & Edison in prayer for See You at the Pole. 🇺🇸 Our students prayed over their schools, teachers, friends, families, community, and country, and we could not be more proud of the courage they showed. For such little voices, they sure made a BIG impact this morning! 💜 This was our biggest See You at the Pole yet, and our hearts are so full! Thank you to every parent, teacher, staff member, and community member who came out to stand beside and support our Little Pirates. 🦖💜💛 A few of our little friends got to go see Dino the Dinosaur today! 💛💜🦖 A BIG thank you to Brett Fadley with the Bristow Route 66 Museum for sharing Dino with our little Pirates! 🏴‍☠️ Our Pre-K friends are learning all about the letter D this week, so a visit to see Dino the Dinosaur was the perfect way to bring our learning to life! 🦖✨ We think our teachers had just as much fun as our kiddos! 💜💛 And to make the day even more special, on their way back, the mayor spotted our kiddos walking and came back to chat with them about all they had learned about dinosaurs! 🦖💬 We love making learning fun and creating special memories with our little Pirates! 💜💛

🐄💛 C is for COW! 💛🐄 What better way to end our week of learning all about the letter C than with the CUTEST little visitor! 🥰 Our Pre-K friends were so excited to meet Hazel, the sweetest baby cow from Junod Acres Farm! 🐮 She made her way around to visit all of our Pre-K classrooms, and there were plenty of smiles, giggles, pets, and LOTS of love for Hazel! We love bringing learning to life and creating special experiences our little learners will remember. 💛🍪 WE DID IT, ECC! $8,000 FOR ST. JUDE! 🍪💛 We are absolutely overwhelmed by the love and generosity shown during our annual Pre-K St. Jude Cookie Sale! We set a goal to surpass the $5,000 raised last year, and our amazing school and community showed up in a HUGE way. Together, we raised an incredible… 🎉 $8,000 FOR ST. JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL! 🎉 What started as a simple cookie sale has become something so much bigger. Each year during C Week, our Pre-K students sell cookies in honor of children who have fought, are currently fighting, or have been affected by childhood cancer. 💛 This would not have been possible without SO many people. 🍪 A huge thank-you to Mrs. Susan Stice and our cafeteria staff for helping make all of the cookies. That is a LOT of cookies, and we are so grateful for the time, work, and love that went into preparing them! 💛 Thank you to everyone who donated cookie-making supplies and helped make sure we had everything needed for the sale. 💛 Thank you to our local businesses and community members who generously donated and supported our fundraiser. We are incredibly blessed to live in a community that continually shows up for our kids and for causes that matter. 💛 Thank you to our ECC students and families who sent donations, purchased cookies, shared our fundraiser, and helped us spread the word. 💛 And thank you to our teachers, staff, and everyone behind the scenes who helped organize, sell, collect, count, bake, package, and make this day possible. Every quarter, every dollar, every donated item, and every helping hand added up to something AMAZING. Last year: $5,000. This year: $8,000! 🙌💛 That is $8,000 going toward the lifesaving work of St. Jude and helping children and families facing childhood cancer. Our students may be little, but together with their families, school, and community, they can make a BIG difference.
