💜🏴‍☠️ ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT 🏴‍☠️💜

At Bristow, we take pride in celebrating the accomplishments of our Purple Pirates long after they leave our halls. Whether they are excelling in athletics, academics, college, careers, military service, the arts, or community leadership, our alumni continue to make us proud through their hard work, dedication, and success.

As we continue our Alumni Spotlight series, we know there are many former Pirates doing amazing things, and we need your help finding them! If you know of a Bristow graduate who is making an impact, please share their story with us. Submit photos and a brief description of their accomplishments through our Alumni Spotlight form or send information to a former coach, sponsor, athletic director, or the high school office for consideration in a future spotlight.

Our goal is to celebrate as many Pirates as possible and showcase the incredible ways Bristow graduates are representing their school and community.

Once a Pirate, Always a Pirate! 💜🏴‍☠️

Congratulations to the outstanding Bristow High School students who represented our community at Oklahoma Boys State!

These young men spent their week at Rogers State University, building mock governments, learning civic leadership, and developing into future leaders.

Join the Celebration! Help us give a massive shoutout to our incredible local delegates!

Kolten Patton
Josiah Rosson

During this intensive program, our delegates took part in hands-on political processes, heard from top guest speakers, and built a brotherhood of highly-motivated young men from all over Oklahoma. They even had the chance to earn college credits!

We are so proud to see our Purple Pirates stepping up, showing civic pride, and representing Bristow so well.

From BHS Teacher of the Year to District Teacher of the Year, there is no one more deserving than Ms. Vasser. The passion, patience, and dedication she pours into her students and classes are truly incredible. As a Special Education teacher, she spends countless hours ensuring every student’s needs are met and that they feel supported, valued, and successful. Thank you, Ms. Vasser, for all you do for our students and our school. We are blessed to have you!!!💜💛🏴‍☠️

Bristow High School students continue to make their mark through student voice and leadership! Last month Kolten Patton took the lead in bringing meaningful conversations to life on The Point Podcast, securing and conducting interviews with Oklahoma House Speaker Kyle Hilbert and education leader Dr. Dan Hamlin. Through these student-led interviews, they tackled important topics like school funding, CareerTech opportunities, workforce development, early literacy, and the impact of strong teachers in the classroom. Even more impressive, they showed that student voices can truly reach and influence state-level leadership. Their work highlights the power of student media, real-world learning, and the opportunities available through CareerTech programs. Shoutout to Kolten Patton and Larry Barcenas for representing Bristow and making us proud! 💜💛🏴‍☠️

Last week at Central Tech two Bristow High School students in the Digital Media Program; Larry Barcenas and Kolton Patton had the incredible opportunity to interview a special guest on their student-led podcast: Governor Kevin Stitt! In the Digital Media class, students lead the entire production process of planning, producing, and executing the podcast while showcasing their skills with a high-profile guest. This was an incredible opportunity and a huge moment for the Digital Media Class. We are proud of our students!!!💜💛🏴‍☠️
