Reminder, Bristow Public Schools will be in session tomorrow, January 30th as a snow make up day. We will also be in session next Friday, February 6th for our second make up day.

The BHS Blood Drive scheduled for 1/28 has been moved to 2/2. Please see Mrs. Hilburn for questions.

There will be no school Tuesday, January 27, 2026 due to road conditions. We will make up both Monday and Tuesday on Friday, January 30, 2026 and Friday, February 6, 2026.

We were honored to have Dr. Jannettie Marshall as our guest speaker for today’s MLK assembly. She delivered a powerful message to our students about how learning and education turn vision into reality. She challenged students to change their mindset, push beyond comfort, and never be content with where they are. Thank you, Dr. Marshall, for inspiring our students to dream bigger and lead with purpose.

We would like to highlight Mrs. Groom and the Bristow FCCLA Program for their outstanding community service projects and events. Mrs. Groom’s class mentored Mrs. Maddux’s Pre-K students through a meaningful shopping trip experience. The FCCLA program also hosted a Mini Kitchen Camp, prepared meals, and participated in Widows Outreach activities.

In addition, students prepared desserts for the 72nd Chuck West Wrestling Tournament hospitality room and participated in the Cook Around the World Competition.

Through these experiences, students demonstrated a strong commitment to service, leadership, and giving back to the community, which are core values of the FCCLA program.
