A colorful Bristow FCCLA flyer promoting “Readers on the Field,” a community literacy event at Bristow High School Baseball Field on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. The graphic shows Bristow Pirate students, children, and families reading together on a football field surrounded by books, school colors, and purple-and-gold decorations. The event is open to Bristow families with children in Pre-K through 3rd grade. Families may optionally bring a new children’s book to donate to Oklahoma foster children ages 0–17. Families with children ages 0–4 can also sign up for a free monthly book through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Bristow middle and high school students will read stories aloud, with children able to move between groups. The flyer emphasizes that “Reading belongs to everyone!” and “Big kids. Little kids. Big dreams.”

Hey 6th grade parents! Students in Careers class just concluded the Construction Cluster last week, and they began exploring the Arts, Entertainment, and Design cluster this week. We will be posting pictures here, so parents can see all the fun things we have been doing in class. Pics should be posted at the end of each cluster. Stay tuned!

No school on Friday? Maybe for the kids! 💜💛
While students enjoyed the day off, our Bristow teachers spent part of Friday learning, collaborating, and celebrating some exciting news! 🎉
The Bristow Education Foundation (BEF) awarded 31 grants totaling more than $31,000 to support our teachers, classrooms, and students! 📚✨
We are incredibly fortunate to live and work in a community that continues to invest in our schools and support the people who make a difference for students every day.
A huge THANK YOU to the Bristow Education Foundation and our generous community for helping turn great ideas into opportunities for our students! 💜🏴‍☠️💛
Want to learn more about BEF or how you can get involved? Contact Dr. Zeddie Cantrell or Mr. Matt Smith for more information.

out of school dates September 4th and 7th

Bristow Public Schools was recently made aware of a social media post referencing BPS alongside several other school districts across the state. Law enforcement has investigated and determined that this threat originated in the UK..

Out of an abundance of caution, the Bristow Police Department has been notified and will be actively patrolling our school sites.

The safety and security of our students and staff remain our highest priority. Should circumstances change or additional information become available, we will notify families promptly.

Practicing different safety drills, help students and staff know what to do during an emergency. Regular practice builds confidence reduces confusion and helps keep everyone safe. We are also very fortunate at BPS to have our own security officer on duty throughout the school day, helping ensure the safety of our students and staff. 💜💛🏴‍☠️
