BRISTOW PUBLIC SCHOOLS BACK-T0-SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE SCHEDULE
Parents are encouraged to take the opportunity to meet their child’s teacher(s) for this school year. Open houses are scheduled on Tuesday, August 6, from 4 to 6 p.m. at all sites.
A “Transition Camp” for sixth grade students will be held on Tuesday, August 6, from
8 to 11:30 a.m. at the middle school.
Also, a ninth grade “Freshmen Connection” will be held on Tuesday, August 6 from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the high school student center. Parents will be invited to come at 11:00 a.m. for an introduction to the freshmen teachers.
Title I meeting for parents will be held at both elementary sites and the middle school from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6.
There will also be a JOM event on Tuesday, August 6 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the high school cafeteria. The Indian aides will be present to distribute school supplies for all JOM Indian students, and family resources will be available.

Back to School Week begins tomorrow morning!
We look forward to meeting everyone on Tuesday for 6th Grade Transition Camp, Freshmen Connection, or Open House.
But most importantly, we are over the moon to begin the 2024-2025 school year on Thursday!

School is just around the corner, the first day of school is Thursday, August 8th! If you are a parent or guardian and haven't had a chance to sign up for Rooms, the district's communication platform, you can do so before school begins.

BPS Meet and Greet is Tuesday, August 6th from 4-6 pm at all sites. Additionally, 6th Grade Transition Camp is also on Tuesday from 8-11:30 am and Freshman Connection is "come and go" is from 8:30 -11 am.

BPS 2024 State Wrestling placers were recognized at the May 13th Board Meeting. Javon F .was 4th at 120lbs. Kale F. 4th at 126 lbs. Hank P. 4th at 150 lbs. Chandler F. 3rd at 165 lbs. Hayden Y. 2nd at 175lbs. . Zoey F. 1st at 125 lbs and was State Champ and State Tournament Outstanding Wrestler in 5A Girls. BMS students take their end-of-the-year dodgeball tournament very seriously! It was a fun day and exciting until the end! We had some hopeful teams that grabbed an early photo before the tournament began. The Duck Dynasty team defended their legacy as dodgeball queens and repeated as winners and the Green Goblins bring home the gold too after defeating some talented teams! Congratulations to the winners of the BMS 2024 Dodgeball Tournament!









Summer Basketball Skills Camp is June 6th and 7th from 8 am to 12 pm for boys in grades 3rd-8th. The cost is $55. The camp features 1990 OK Super 5

Don't forget that the Caring Van will be at the Middle School this Friday, May 9. If your student needs immunizations, they will need the papers filled out and with them tomorrow at school. If you have questions, contact the Middle School office tomorrow from 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM at 918-367-3551.

Please sign the sign in sheet. Pets are welcome but must be kept in carriers. The storm shelter will open in the event of severe weather 1)when there's a severe thunderstorm warning 2 counties away 2)when there's a tornado warning in Creek County.

Today was Principal's Day, so the Middle School teachers decided to dress like the principals! The kids didn't know what to do!










Yesterday was Outsider's Day in 8th grade Reading. Students are finishing reading The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, and they chose to dress either as Greasers or Socs from the 1960s.
