On Monday, November 13, Native American week started at Bristow Public Schools at our building. We had visitors from several different sites within the district read to our sixth grade students throughout the day. The stories they shared were all Native American books by Native American authors.
Thank you to Coach Kinzer, Mrs. Howell, Mrs. Little, Ruth Johns, Mrs. Shockley, and Elissa Abbot for taking the time to share Native American stories with our students.

Mrs. Houser's 7th and 8th grade students learned about Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and made alebrijes.

7th graders took their learning home tonight. SpaceX will had a satellite parade visible in the Oklahoma sky that connects to their Reading unit about whether space travel is worth the risk or too dangerous to undertake.
Missed tonight? They will pass by again tomorrow night around 6:30 & 8:30.

Celebrate Native American Heritage Month next week district wide with the following days!
