Middle School Picture Day will be on Monday, October 3.
Students will be bringing home order forms Wednesday if you wish to order. They need to have the order form with them on the day of pictures if they are paying in cash or check. There are also options to order online detailed on the form.

BPS will begin selling used chromebooks for $10 each on Wednesday, Sept. 14th. These have been wiped clean, no longer have the BPS license on them, and will be sold AS IS. At this time we are only able to sell one per student. Chromebooks may be purchased in your child's school site's secretary's office. A receipt will be provided upon purchase. The sale will remain open until we run out.

Friday is Bristow Homecoming! There will be a parade down main street at 2:15. The homecoming coronation will begin at 5:45 at the football field and kickoff is set for 7:00 pm. Let's go Pirates!

6th grade students completed a lab was called "Scrambled Eyes" to teach them lab safety today. Looks so much fun!




Families can sign their child up for FREE online math tutoring through the Math Tutoring Corps. Participation in the program will help students have greater confidence in their grade level math skills and be more college and career ready. Studies have shown that grades 6-8 are the critical years for students to catch up or remain on track in order to be successful in their high school and post secondary endeavors. Tomorrow morning from 8-11 will be 6th grade transition camp for our incoming 6th graders. Students will have an opportunity to meet teachers, practice lockers, play games, and get ready to be middle schoolers.

Our BMS softball team is finding fun ways to beat the heat. They had bring anything but a water bottle to practice yesterday!


Only 18 days until our teachers will be ready to meet their new groups of students.

The Bristow Board of Education District #3 seat is currently open, and the Board of Education is currently accepting letters of interest. Potential candidates will be interviewed at the Board's monthly meeting on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 6 p.m., at the Bristow Admin Building, 420 N. Main. Students learn about Newton's Laws of Motion, acceleration, and speed as they create rollercoasters in Mrs. DeShazo's science class.
