The Galaxy school dance is Thursday night from 6-8 at the MS gym.
Students who have not purchased a ticket can buy them at the door.
All grades must be eligible to enter the dance.
There will be opportunities to purchase concession items. Most items are $1-2.
Since this dance was originally a Halloween dance, there will be a Halloween costume contest. There will be a prize for the winner.
If students are not participating in the costume contest, they can dress as they wish. All clothing and accessories must be school appropriate and all behaviors must follow school rules.
Doors open at 6. Only Bristow Middle School students can attend.
Once students are in the MS gym for the dance, they can not leave and come back in. Any questions can be directed to the Middle School office.

BMS students still enjoying the always popular dodge ball game and they got a little help from visitors! Coach Busch and Coach Lyons do a great job with PE.

Chess club is always a popular mind game at BMS!

BMS had the opportunity to bring cans for social services last week. Thank you to all who were able to send items!

Mrs. Medlock's students are learning about base and acids in 7th grade science.

Events for the week at BMS!

Mrs. Thomas' 8th grade reading classes just finished the novel, “A Monster Calls.” Here they are creating one pagers over the novel along with adding their versions of what “monsters” really are.

These are just a few of the many students who improved their IXL Diagnostic Math Score! They were rewarded with pizza and soda!!

Mrs. Ward, our 6th grade geography teacher, teamed up with JOM for Native American week, and talked about how the Johnson O'Malley program benefited her growing up! Thank you Mrs. Ward!

Sixth grade teacher, Ms. Still, and her students, found some treasure for sure! Pecans!! She discussed with them the ecosystem and how pecans have value to lots of animals and are yummy in food. They also discussed how they are removed by machinery on large scale and the small business in town that crack them.

Mrs. Wilhite and her students have been busy being kind and creative. They created amazing projects in the Stem 1 class with a 3-D printer. After asking teachers about things they like, they brain-stormed and created something special and wrote a thank you to the teachers and staff! Mrs. Plum is thankful for the cool dragon and slug (for the plants in her office) and even more thankful for great teachers and students at BMS! Some students are shy about being online. :)

BMS attended the annual Veteran's Assembly today with the high school. Bristow alumni and Veteran, Mr. Scott Holt, spoke about growing up in Bristow and how many great memories he has of his home town, as well as what it means to truly be a veteran and the sacrifice of those who serve. His service to our nation, along with all our veterans, is very much appreciated. It was a wonderful assembly with the band and choir participating as well. Proud to be a Bristow Pirate and thankful for our veterans!

We are celebrating Native American week this week at BMS! A special tribute to our veterans was created by Mrs. Smith, our JOM representative. Thank you so much Mrs. Smith and thank you to all our veterans!

BMS events for the week! Go Pirates!

The traditional BMS dance is coming up! Tickets can be purchased before school and at lunch from a STUCO member. You can also get with Coach Busch. Remember, you MUST be eligible to attend and eligibility will be ran on the day before the dance to attend.
