Teachers will have a professional day on Friday, November 3. Students will not attend school.

Collins loves art and we appreciate our amazing art teacher.



The Collins staff got into the Red Ribbon Week spirit with a color war and a color luncheon. Everyone had so much fun participating with the students.

The Collins Creative Collaborators Club is working and creating in after school enrichment.




Next week, October 23-27, is Red Ribbon Week.

Mrs. Stinnett's fifth graders completed a camping unit to receive badges. The students had a great time and learned so much in all their competitions.







Mrs. Root's third graders are learning about voting. The class connected a voting unit to their group reading. They had an election and chose the favorite chocolate bar.






The third grade hallways are filled with robots.



Public Education - A Mission Worth Saving. The community is invited to join Derald Glover as he shares the role religion has played in the country and within public schools throughout history. He will be speaking at Bristow Freewill Baptist Church @ 1pm on Friday, Oct. 6th. All are welcome to join the conversation.

We are beginning our chocolate fundraiser for the year at Collins Elementary. Students have information and a permission slip today. If they can sell chocolate, they will need to bring their permission slip tomorrow, October 3rd, and can check out two boxes at a time. Thank you for helping us raise money for our school.
Mr. Williams' 4th graders are learning about life science with an owl pellet activity.
