What an incredible spelling bee today! The competition was strong, but even more beautiful was the way our students supported one another—cheering, celebrating, and sharing pure joy when their friends spelled words correctly. 💛
The winning word was articulate (which is considered a word that every 11th grader should know how to spell), and the tie-breaker word was stealth.

There will be no school Tuesday, January 27, 2026 due to road conditions. We will make up both Monday and Tuesday on Friday, January 30, 2026 and Friday, February 6, 2026.

This was an extra special day!Mrs. Espolt's first grade teacher came to their classroom and read Stone Soup 🥣. Then she read a different version, and they compared and contrasted the two stories. To bring it all to life, they made their own delicious stone soup! Learning is better when stories, memories, and hands-on fun come together.

🌍✈️ First grade students traveled around the world this week during Christmas Around the World! With the help of their imaginative teachers, students visited Italy, Japan, Mexico, Sweden, Ethiopia, and Australia. They created passports and plane tickets, explored music and stories from each country, made country-inspired crafts, and even sampled traditional foods. What an amazing global adventure!

All the fresh baked cookies are happy to be hanging out with the rest of their batch. The Gingerbread Boys and Girls, the Ginger Snaps, Lady Fingers, Shortbread and of course, the giggling Snickerdoodles!
But wait! Someone heard a rumor that they are all being taken to a Cookie Exchange! There, they will be separated from their familiar friends and forced to live with cookies so unlike themselves! What fun for children to dress up like their favorite cookies (Animal Crackers, Macaroons, Russian Tea Cakes and more) and
learn through participation in this musical the joy of meeting friends who may seem different than them. We are so proud of them!
