It is READING SEASON at Edison Elementary. Mrs. Smythe, our new Librarian, is leading the charge. She is encouraging our students to check out books and read, read, read! Will you join us? Let's all jump into READING SEASON at Edison and at home.

Welcome to WEEK ONE at Edison Elementary. We are so excited to get busy and down to work. Each Monday we hope to remind you of some upcoming things so you will be prepared. Look Ahead with us so we will all be prepared and will be able to #hookthetreasure together.

Edison, we want to be a Purple School! What does that mean? Mrs. Shelton made a video that explains it all.
Also, check out our BRAND NEW YOUTUBE PAGE! Come back often to listen to a story being read. You can even have your child listen and they can take AR tests over the books.
Reading is so important. We hope to be great role models of how easy and fun it is!
If you ever would like to be one of our YouTube readers, please email Mrs Shelton.
