We are excited to offer bigger, better Accelerated
Reader incentives this year! We would like to take students on field trips for every goal (free of charge)! We will continue to offer prizes for goal increments, but would also like to recognize 100 point Club students with special medals and an exclusive field trip at the end of the school year.
We have decided to have our BIGGEST FUNDRAISER EVER! This is an exciting opportunity to purchase Bristow Pirate gear for a good cause! Blankets will arrive before Christmas- so think of all the gifts!

It is Read an Accurate Ag Book Week! 4H students volunteered to read to our students today! One group learned all about farming and how their meals are directly connected to the farm. Thank you to all the 4H students participating this week!
BPS has been hard at work getting BusRight set up and ready for the 2025-26 launch! Parents whose child rides a bus can expect to receive an invitation via email on September 5, 2025. Make sure you check your spam if you don't see an invite on that day. Also make sure you've given your child's school your current contact information, including a valid email.
Our first graders had a stem challenge to work with a partner to build the tallest tower that would hold the most letters! It was a great way to end our alphabet review!
One of the coolest things to see at ECC is when our older students choose to spend time with our younger ones. 💙 In second grade, students earn rewards for their hard work—and some choose the special reward of coming back to the younger classes to read stories. 📚✨ It’s such a sweet interaction watching our kids connect across grade levels and seeing how much the little ones look up to the “big kids.”

Please help us welcome Katie Peterson to the Bristow Staff! Katie will be teaching 1st grade at Edison Elementary this year.
Katie is a graduate of New Mexico State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management. She and her husband moved to Bristow in 2016, where they are now raising their four children.
For the past three years, Katie has served as the JOM Resource at Edison. She earned her teaching certification last year, and this will be her first official year in the classroom. Katie is excited to help her students grow and is passionate about sharing her love of learning.
Outside of school, Katie enjoys spending time with her family on their ranch and staying involved in the Bristow community.
We are thrilled to have her join the Edison team!
