Reynolds, our students had a day filled with dots, creativity, and lots of fun! 🥥🌴 Chicka Chicka Boom Boom! 🌴🥥 Mrs. Balenti’s class brought Chicka Chicka Boom Boom to life with a little coconut tasting! After enjoying this favorite story, our Little Pirates got to use their senses and give coconut a try. 🥥📚 Learning is always a little more fun when you can taste it, touch it, and experience it! 💜💛 Chicka Chicka Boom Boom… will there be enough room?! 🌴🔤

💜💛 What a fun way to start our Friday at ECC! 🏴‍☠️ Our Little Pirates were greeted yesterday morning by some of our high school football players, cheerleaders, and softball players as they arrived at school! 🏈📣🥎 There’s nothing sweeter than seeing our big Pirates showing up for our littlest Pirates with smiles, high-fives, and lots of Pirate pride! 💜💛 We sure are lucky to have some pretty awesome role models for our kiddos to look up to! 🔤 B is for BALLS! 🏀⚽️🏐🎾 Pre-K has been busy learning all about the letter B this week, and Mrs. Mattox’s class took their learning hands-on with a Ball Investigation! 🔍 Our little learners explored balls in so many different ways! They put them in order from smallest to largest, tested to see which ones bounced, compared how they were the same and different, and explored their different colors, sizes, and textures. And the most exciting part…we even cut open a few balls to investigate what was inside! 😲✂️ So much science, math, vocabulary, predicting, comparing, and FUN packed into one investigation! 💜💛 #PreKLearning #BisForBall #BallInvestigation #LearningThroughPlay #HandsOnLearning #TogetherWeShine

Tonight is the night!! It’s Reading Lights the Way Literacy Night!!! We have a lot of fun activities to do. Kindergarten and PreK enter through the kindergarten doors. It will start at 4:30 and is over at 6:00. It’s going to be a glowing good time 🌞

🍎🍏 All Things Apples! 🍏🍎 Today we kicked off one of our favorite Pre-K themes—ALL THINGS APPLES! ❤️💚 Our Little Pirates had so much fun getting hands-on with apples! We created apple prints 🎨🍎 and put on our scientist hats to make predictions about whether an apple would SINK or FLOAT! 🤔💦 There’s so much learning happening through exploring, predicting, creating, and discovering—and this is only the beginning of our apple-filled fun! 🍎✨ We can’t wait to see what else we discover as we learn all about letter A and APPLES! 💜

Practicing different safety drills, help students and staff know what to do during an emergency. Regular practice builds confidence reduces confusion and helps keep everyone safe. We are also very fortunate at BPS to have our own security officer on duty throughout the school day, helping ensure the safety of our students and staff. 💜💛🏴‍☠️
