We can’t wait to see everyone sparkle tomorrow!

Mrs. Plum’s class is thankful for a beautiful day spent learning, laughing, and enjoying time with friends.

Mrs. Mattox’s class had a blast doing fall-themed rotations!

Mrs. Beard’s and Mrs. Shironaka’s classes had a wonderful day exploring, learning, and having fun at the Discovery Lab!

More Kindergarten & T1 Thanksgiving Fun
In Kindergarten and T1, our classes enjoyed their own Thanksgiving-themed snacks and mini-feasts. Some groups worked together to make homemade butter, shaking jars of cream as a team and celebrating when it finally turned into a solid. Others enjoyed a Charlie Brown–style Thanksgiving snack, adding a playful twist inspired by a favorite classic.
No matter the activity, each classroom shared moments of laughter, teamwork, and friendship—making it a memorable and joyful way to celebrate the season together.

ECC has the cutest little turkeys around, and today they celebrated Thanksgiving in the sweetest way — enjoying fun activities and time with their friends.

ECC students had a blast learning how to make their own butter today! With just a jar, cream, and lots of shaking, they got to see science in action — and taste the results!

Today in Kindergarten and T1, we gathered in our building’s common area for an early Thanksgiving — our own little Friendsgiving celebration. Students and teachers came together to sing songs, share Thanksgiving stories, and talk about turkeys, Pilgrims, and Native peoples, a little exploring how things were “back in the day.”
Two of our beloved teachers who will be retiring this year, Mrs. Lomenick and Mrs. Matherly, helped lead the celebration. Mrs. Lomenick shared stories and taught us songs, while Mrs. Matherly brought lots of laughter with her Thanksgiving jokes.
It was a warm, joyful time to come together as a community and celebrate before heading into our Thanksgiving break.

Bristow Public Schools will be closed November 24th-28th for Thanksgiving Break. School resumes December 1st. The BPS calendar is located at www.bristow.k12.ok.us.

Mrs. Beard's class had pumpkin pie today, and it was the perfect little taste of fall! The kiddos enjoyed every bite and had so much fun trying this seasonal treat.

🍂 Pre-K Explores the Season of Fall! 🍁
Our Pre-K students got their hands busy as they learned all about the season of fall. They went outside to explore, observe, and collect nature’s beautiful colors. The children gathered leaves of all shapes and sizes, noticing the reds, yellows, oranges, and browns that make this season so special.
Back in the classroom, they used their collections for hands-on projects—building their own fall trees and sorting leaves by size: big, medium, and small. 🍁🌳
We love watching our students learn through exploration and play! 🍂✨

Today we want to give a big shout-out to Mrs. Brewer. Her classroom flooded last week, but she handled everything with so much calmness, grace, and strength. Her students were safe, cared for, and still had a great day because of her steady leadership.
We are so grateful for amazing teachers who turn challenges into moments of teamwork and positivity. 💛

This week, Pre-K explored the Letter I — and what better way to celebrate than with ICE CREAM! 🍦✨
They wrapped up their week with a special visit from our local ice cream truck, Barnyard Blizzard, and it was the sweetest surprise!
The rest of ECC joined in on the fun, and even Mr. Lomenick came out to enjoy the excitement. Smiles, sprinkles, and happy little faces everywhere — the perfect finish to our Letter I week! ❄️🍨💛
We love making learning memorable at ECC!

Mrs. Fruits’ pre-K class had an Incredible day exploring the letter Ii!
To make their learning even more exciting, they tried ice painting — the kids loved watching the colors melt and glide across their papers. It was a cool, creative way to bring the letter Ii to life! ❄️🎨
Our little learners are always having fun while they grow!

Kindergarten and 5th Grade Monster Collaboration 👿
In September, our Kindergarten and T1 students designed their own monsters on paper and wrote three words to describe them. Those imaginative designs were then sent to the art classes at Collins Elementary, where 5th grade students brought the monsters to life!
Today, the 5th graders visited to personally deliver each finished monster to its creator. Each Kindergarten and T1 student received their monster in a special gift bag labeled with their name and the name of the 5th grader who made it.
The visit was filled with excitement and smiles as the older students proudly shared their creations with our littles. It was a special moment for everyone—our Kindergarten teachers even got to reconnect with some of their former students, now thriving as 5th graders!

🍦 Ice Cream Truck Update! 🍦
The ice cream truck will be coming Friday instead of tomorrow for Pre-K, Kindergarten, and T1! Please make sure to send $1.00 with your child so they can enjoy a sweet treat. 😊
