As we get ready to start the 24-25 school year, we would like to introduces some of our new BHS staff members to our students and the community.
School is just around the corner, the first day of school is Thursday, August 8th! If you are a parent or guardian and haven't had a chance to sign up for Rooms, the district's communication platform, you can do so before school begins.

Native American students can pick up their free JOM school supplies on August 6th between 4 -6 PM.

BPS Meet and Greet is Tuesday, August 6th from 4-6 pm at all sites. Additionally, 6th Grade Transition Camp is also on Tuesday from 8-11:30 am and Freshman Connection is "come and go" is from 8:30 -11 am.

The Tribal Education Departments National Assembly ACE is hosting a summer day camp July 16 & 17 in partnership with the College of The Muscogee Nation!! Meals, games, prizes, tour of the college, and more! Indigenous world famous Chef, Nico Williams will be sharing a meal and presentation on Indigenous Food Sovereignty and Cheyenne & Arapaho Productions will be here filming and showing students how representation matters in film! BPS 2024 State Wrestling placers were recognized at the May 13th Board Meeting. Javon F .was 4th at 120lbs. Kale F. 4th at 126 lbs. Hank P. 4th at 150 lbs. Chandler F. 3rd at 165 lbs. Hayden Y. 2nd at 175lbs. . Zoey F. 1st at 125 lbs and was State Champ and State Tournament Outstanding Wrestler in 5A Girls. Congratulations to Mrs. O'Brien's nine talented students! Among them, Asher S., Cheyenne R., Gray H., Kapri C., Rylee W., Carlee R., Katelen C., Jaiyana S., and Layken T., have seven art pieces qualifying for this year's Oklahoma State Fair Student's Art Exhibition. Best of luck to these talented artists!
Congratulations to the Class of 2024 students at our
Senior Award Assembly! Thirty-one students will be graduating with training certification from Central Tech, and over 30 students will be graduating with college credit. Additionally, graduating seniors were accepted to over 20 different colleges and universities, showcasing their diverse range of opportunities. Their hard work paid off, as they earned over $620K in scholarships. Four graduating seniors have enlisted in the Oklahoma National Guard, demonstrating their commitment to service. One student will also be graduating with an associate's degree from TCC. Great job, Pirates!

Congratulations to Rori Kelly and Jo Cartwright for being selected to the All State 3A Girls West Soccer team. Also to the other girls on the team for the All District Honors. Way to go Lady Pirates!!
