Meals, games, prizes, tour of the college, and more! Indigenous world famous Chef, Nico Williams will be sharing a meal and presentation on Indigenous Food Sovereignty and Cheyenne & Arapaho Productions will be here filming and showing students how representation matters in film! BPS 2024 State Wrestling placers were recognized at the May 13th Board Meeting. Javon F .was 4th at 120lbs. Kale F. 4th at 126 lbs. Hank P. 4th at 150 lbs. Chandler F. 3rd at 165 lbs. Hayden Y. 2nd at 175lbs. . Zoey F. 1st at 125 lbs and was State Champ and State Tournament Outstanding Wrestler in 5A Girls. Congratulations to Mrs. O'Brien's nine talented students! Congratulations to the Class of 2024 students at our
Senior Award Assembly! Thirty-one students will be graduating with training certification from Central Tech, and over 30 students will be graduating with college credit. Additionally, graduating seniors were accepted to over 20 different colleges and universities, showcasing their diverse range of opportunities. Their hard work paid off, as they earned over $620K in scholarships. Four graduating seniors have enlisted in the Oklahoma National Guard, demonstrating their commitment to service. One student will also be graduating with an associate's degree from TCC. Great job, Pirates!

Congratulations to Rori Kelly and Jo Cartwright for being selected to the All State 3A Girls West Soccer team. Also to the other girls on the team for the All District Honors. Way to go Lady Pirates!!

Congrats to our Boys and Girls at Track State! The boys finished 9th overall and the girls finished 10th.
Ava Yocham was 3rd in the 100 m hurdles with an injured quad!
Gage Spencer was 200 m state champion, broke the school record again, and was state runner up with a 10.5 in the 100!
Gavin Honeycutt finished 7th in the pole vault!
Zach Bentley finished 6th in high jump!
Shalyn Edmondson finished 6th in high jump!
Freshman Ayana Bruner finished 8th overall in a tough 400 m final!
Our girls 4/100 finished 6th and broke the school record with a 49.46
Our girls 4/200 also finished 6th overall.
Our girls 4/400 took 7th overall!
Our boys 4/200 finished 4th overall and set a new school record of 1:28.89!
Lots of great accomplishments this season for both teams!!

Storm Preparedness-The storm shelter located in the Pre-K building at 119 W 9th Ave. will be opened in the event of severe weather. The south entrance off of 9th will be open. Please sign the sign in sheet. Pets are welcome but must be kept in carriers. The storm shelter will open in the event of severe weather 1)when there's a severe thunderstorm warning 2 counties away 2)when there's a tornado warning in Creek County.

Last night's FFA Banquet was fantastic, honoring all the degree winners and hardworking students for their achievements this year. Mr. McGovran and Mrs. Lundy do an amazing job with our program.
