The Polar Express collaboration with our BHS fine arts department teachers tonight was absolutely incredible! The performances showcased such talent and creativity from our middle school and high school students , and the involvement of past alumni added a meaningful connection to the event. Great job Chapman Shields! It was wonderful to see the community come together in support, making the evening even more special.

Now Accepting Applications for the Oklahoma House of Representatives High School Page Program! Each year, high school juniors and seniors from across the state have the unique opportunity to participate in the Oklahoma House of Representatives High School Page Program. This program allows students to experience the workings of the legislative process firsthand. Pages serve for one week, Monday through Thursday, during the legislative session, which runs from the first Monday in February through the last Friday in May. As a Page, students will assist in the House chamber during daily sessions, run errands for Representatives and House staff, and take part in the House Page Mock Legislature. The program kicks off with an orientation on Monday morning to familiarize Pages with the Capitol building and their responsibilities for the week. Each day, Pages work from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Monday through Wednesday), with an early release at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hotel accommodations and chaperones are provided and Pages are transported to and from the Capitol each day. Students are closely supervised throughout the program and are not permitted to leave the hotel or the Capitol. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity! Apply now to become a Page and get an insider’s view of Oklahoma's legislative process! High School Page Program Page Packet

The Art Deco Show & Student Exhibition Presented by our Art, U.S. History, & English III Classes held in Chuck West Fieldhouse was a great success! Students showcased their incredible talent and creativity, and several community members joined us for an evening of music, art, and academics dedicated to the roaring 20's. The event featured: • Artworks inspired by the bold and elegant designs of the Art Deco era. • Historical displays highlighting the culture and influence of the time. • Literary pieces of the Great Gatsby. Thank you to all the students, staff, and community members who made this event so special. It was a wonderful celebration of learning, creativity, and collaboration!
