Thank you to Mayor Wyatt and our local librarian Ms. Hutto for sharing insights this week with our sophomores about the 17 Global Goals aimed at addressing critical challenges around the world. Through a guided inquiry approach, students are actively engaging with questions and problems to deepen their understanding, develop critical thinking skills, and strengthen their problem-solving abilities as they work on their reports for English II class.

Bristow High School Blood Drive
Date: October 8
Time: 9 AM - 2 PM
Location: Chuck West Gymnasium
Join us for the Bristow High School Blood Drive!
Walk-ins are welcome, and every donation can make a significant difference, especially in the wake of recent hurricanes that have increased the demand for blood. Your contribution is vital to helping those in need.
Let’s come together as a community to support this important cause.
Thank you for being a hero and saving lives!

On September 26th last week, the CAF Spirit of Tulsa Squadron flew their PT-19 into the Bristow Jones Memorial Airport, where they were greeted by several local pilots with their personal airplanes. This event was organized to provide Bristow High School's aviation students with a hands-on opportunity to explore various types of aircraft.
Students were able to check out flight gear for an open cockpit WWII trainer, sit inside a small plane to examine the control surfaces and instrument panels, view a large agricultural drone, and engage with experienced pilots. They also had the chance to witness the takeoff and fly-by of the WWII plane.
Special thanks to Wes Pringle, Vicki Roth, Louie Malinchak, Joey Varner, and everyone else who contributed to making this event a success.

Bristow Education Foundation featured on News on 6 for their record $40,000 in teacher grant awards this year. BPS appreciates the dedication of BEF in supporting our teachers, students, and classrooms!
