The spirit of community and creativity came together this Halloween thanks to SLB, a company known for innovation and heart. For the second year in a row, SLB employees have volunteered their time and talents to design and build a wheelchair-accessible Halloween costume—this year for one of our very own ECC students.

SLB’s Kellyville office wanted to support a local school in the area, and with many of their employees living in Bristow, partnering with ECC was a perfect fit. The team, made up of about 20 employees, poured a month of hard work, engineering expertise, and imagination into creating something truly special: a beautiful Tangled Tower for Rapunzel.

The engineers at SLB are passionate about building, but projects like this hold extra meaning. “Our team absolutely loves projects like this,” said one SLB representative. “It’s a chance to use our skills to create something that has a big impact and brings joy.”

When the final touches were complete, the tower was delivered to ECC, where the excitement was contagious. Seeing one of our students transformed into Rapunzel—complete with her tower—made for a magical Halloween moment that will not soon be forgotten.

ECC extends heartfelt thanks to SLB for their generosity, creativity, and commitment to making Halloween extra special for one of our students. With companies like SLB in our community, the magic of kindness and engineering continues to shine bright!
