📢 New Student Enrollment Starts Today, July 27! 🏫
If your student attended Bristow Public Schools last year, there is nothing you need to do. Your student is already enrolled, and updated paperwork will be sent home on the first day of school, August 7.
If you are enrolling a new student, please stop by the specific school site your student will be attending to enroll:
• Edison Early Childhood Center: PreK-Kindergarten
• Edison Elementary: 1st – 2nd Grade
• Collins Elementary: 3rd – 5th Grade
• Bristow Middle School: 6th – 8th Grade
• Bristow High School: 9th – 12th Grade

Join us in celebrating some incredible news from our students attending Central Tech! We just got the final tracking data back for this cohort of 85 students, and they are absolutely knocking it out of the park.
While attending Central Tech, these 85 hardworking students earned a whopping 196 industry-recognized professional certifications! That is an average of over 2 professional credentials per student before they even cross the graduation stage.
Here is a quick look at what they accomplished:
53 Career Readiness Certificates (Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers) proving they have top tier workplace literacy skills.
47 Industry Safety & Compliance Credentials (including OSHA 10 and Basic Life Support) making them immediate Day 1 assets to local employers.
Advanced Technical Specializations in high demand fields like Allied Health (Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, Nurse Aide), Advanced Trades (Welding, HVACR, Carpentry), and IT/Cybersecurity!
We are so proud of our students for putting in the extra hours, mastering these complex skills, and building resumes that will set them up for high wage, high skill careers. Thank you to Central Tech for being a phenomenal partner in our students' educational journeys!

Seussical the Musical: Kids is almost here at the Freeland Center, and these students are bringing something truly special to the stage! May 1st-3rd!
This first-of-its-kind production is a musical by kids, for kids… but trust us, adults will love it too!

🌟 Keli Schonfield – Edison Early Childhood Center (Pre-K)
With 23 years of experience, Keli is a master at making learning fun and active for our youngest Pirates. She believes in the power of play and music to engage students and is known for her heart for community service, organizing events like the St. Jude’s cookie sale and the cereal box domino challenge.
🌟 Keli Groves – Edison Elementary (1st Grade)
Keli is dedicated to building a strong foundation of self-confidence in her students. She uses hands-on learning to help children explore and create, always keeping the lines of communication open with families to ensure every child feels supported and cared for.
🌟 Matthew Cook – Collins Elementary (Special Education)
Matthew creates a safe, structured, and predictable environment where his students feel empowered to learn and grow. He draws from his own life experiences to build deep, empathetic relationships with his students and their families, ensuring every child has high expectations and the support to meet them.
🌟 Becky Busch – Bristow Middle School (Physical Education & Health)
Coach Busch is passionate about active learning and connecting students with the community, often inviting local professionals to share their expertise. Whether she’s leading Student Council, coaching on the sidelines, or handing out "big hand" high fives in the morning, her goal is to change "someone’s world" every day.
🌟 Sienna Vassar – Bristow High School (Special Education)
A veteran educator of 25 years, Sienna is a fierce advocate for her students, helping them develop vital life and transition skills. She fosters a classroom culture of mutual respect and kindness, and her dedication extends far beyond the classroom as a mentor to new teachers and a coordinator for various community-based work programs.
