The Bristow Lady Pirates have won their way to the 4A State Softball Championship for the 3rd year in a row, clinching the Regional Championship on Friday evening. After a heartbreaking first round loss on Thursday, they won 3 consecutive games on Friday to punch their ticket to state on their quest for a State Championship. The first round will be played on Thursday, Oct. 13th at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City. The bracket should be released Tuesday, Oct. 11th.

Parent/teacher conferences are next Monday, Oct. 10th and Tuesday, Oct. 11th from 4-7 p.m. Please reach out to your child's school if you have not already signed up for a conference time. Fall break will begin on Wednesday, Oct. 12th. School will resume after fall break on Monday, Oct. 17th.

BPS will begin selling used chromebooks for $10 each on Wednesday, Sept. 14th. These have been wiped clean, no longer have the BPS license on them, and will be sold AS IS. At this time we are only able to sell one per student. Chromebooks may be purchased in your child's school site's secretary's office. A receipt will be provided upon purchase. The sale will remain open until we run out.

Mrs. Baker's kindergarten class enjoyed learning the letter "Ss" and having "silly sock day" this past week. The Baker Buch is geared up for a great year!
If you are sponsoring a group or float in the parade tomorrow, reach out to the school(s) today with details and your list of students that are participating.
Also, if they need candy, please send it with them to school to remove confusion.
These steps will help the process run smoother tomorrow.

Friday is Bristow Homecoming! There will be a parade down main street at 2:15. The homecoming coronation will begin at 5:45 at the football field and kickoff is set for 7:00 pm. Let's go Pirates!

High School Picture Day is TOMORROW!

Bristow Public Schools would like to remind everyone that school will not be in session on Friday, September 2, 2022 as the district will be having a teacher professional development day. There will also be no school on Monday, September 5, 2022 in observance of Labor Day. School will resume on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
