Please help us welcome Harlie Webb to the Bristow Staff. Harlie will be teaching physical education this year.
Harlie graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She began teaching physical education here in January and will continue doing so this year for her first full year. Harlie grew up in Bristow and says that she is excited to give back to her community by teaching alongside teachers and staff that taught her to strive for excellence from a young age!
Harlie says her goals are to create an environment that encourages students to be confident, engaged, and active. She believes that physical education is more than physical fitness, but about character development, teamwork, and respect. She says she strives to ensure that every student is offered the opportunity to succeed, feel valued, and encouraged to participate and grow in their own way.
Outside of the classroom you can find Harlie doing anything outdoors, reading, painting, or spending time with her family and friends. Harlie is excited to further her involvement in the upcoming school year and to continue growing as part of the pirate community!

Andee Cooper is a Bristow graduate and author of the book Sometimes I get the Wiggles She came and read the book to a few of our Edison classes this year. The book has been turned into a musical and will be performed at the Freeland Center. It is a great story about how to be a hero and help others who have special needs. ❤️

What a joyful day we had celebrating our incredible 2nd grade students at their promotion ceremony! It was truly a beautiful event, filled with smiles, proud moments, and a few happy tears as we honored the hard work, growth, and accomplishments of our students. We hope you enjoyed the celebration as much as we did. It was a special moment not only for our students but for all of us who have watched them grow and thrive throughout the year. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing 2nd grade teachers—Mrs. Dunbar, Mrs. Todd, Mrs. Hinson, Mrs. Lynn, Mrs. Hewitt, and Mrs. Locke—for creating such a memorable and meaningful ceremony. Their dedication, creativity, and love for their students were evident in every detail of the event. Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We are so proud of our students and look forward to all the wonderful things they will continue to accomplish.

🥣 We Knocked Out Hunger in a Big Way! 🥣 Edison students came together to support our community and donated an incredible 1,023 boxes of cereal to Bristow Social Services! We celebrated this amazing act of kindness by setting up a school-wide cereal box domino chain — and it was a huge success! A huge congratulations to our top student donors: 🎉 Abigail Torres and Keller Chandler, who each donated over 120 boxes! 🏆 Mrs. Green’s class donated the most overall and earned a delicious Ice Cream Party to celebrate! Thank you to all of our students, families, and staff for your generosity and support in helping local children this summer. 💛 You truly made a difference!

Help Us Knock Down Hunger! 🥣 Edison Cereal Drive – Now through May 6th! Each year, Edison proudly donates unopened, new boxes of cereal to Bristow Social Services to help feed children throughout the summer months. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to make a difference in the community — and have some fun while doing it! Led by Mrs. Schonfield, our students will line up the cereal boxes in a giant domino chain throughout the gym. The student who brings in the most boxes gets the honor of setting off the dominoes — a moment the whole school cheers for! We invite all families to participate by donating as many boxes of cereal as you can by Monday, May 6th. Every box helps a child in need, and… 🎉 The class that donates the most cereal will win an ICE CREAM PARTY! Thank you for supporting this meaningful tradition. Let’s work together to knock down hunger — one cereal box at a time!
