The Rematch of the Year!
Back in January, our friend Jeremiah challenged Coach Webb to a race—and he won!
Today, during our indoor field day, Coach Webb came ready for a rematch… in full dinosaur inflatable costume!
She may have tried to bend the rules a little—we saw that, Coach!—but Jeremiah still pulled off another victory.
He is very, very fast, and kindergarten is so proud!
Way to go, Jeremiah—and Coach Webb, you sure know how to make school fun!

Due to the predicted severe thunderstorms on Wednesday and throughout next week, we have made the decision to cancel our outdoor Little Olympics event for the safety of our students and staff.
Instead, we are excited to announce that we will be hosting an indoor King Pin Tournament for our Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade students! The tournament will take place in the LeForce Gym, and we warmly invite all parents and families to attend.
Each grade level will proudly present their flags at the beginning of their tournament session. Below is the schedule:
1st Grade: 8:45 AM – 10:20 AM
2nd Grade: 10:40 AM – 11:50 AM
Kindergarten: 12:50 PM – 2:15 PM
We look forward to a fun-filled day of friendly competition and school spirit, all indoors and weather-safe. Thank you for your continued support and understanding!
This is a message that STINKS to send out. Unfortunately, due to the weather forecast, we are unable to predict whether we will be able to have little olympics at the football field. We are HOPING that the rain stays away and the games will go on as planned. With the uncertainty, we have decided that the concession stand is something we will have to forgo this year.
Cross your fingers that the. rain stays. away and our little Olympic games will be held at the field - if the rain comes, we have a plan! Stay in contact through your child's room account and social media for any information.
We hope to see you there!

Mrs. Groom’s FCCLA class does so much for our Edison students every year! From baking Monster Cookies and hosting fun reading activities to turning student drawings into adorable stuffed creatures, they always bring creativity and joy to our school.
Now, they’re planning a special day with us—selling snow cones to raise funds for all these amazing events. We love working with them and appreciate the strong sense of community they build with our younger students.
Please send $2 to support FCCLA and enjoy a snow cone on Monday! 🍧

Big news coming from the Little Olympics team! We will have Hamburgers and Hotdogs and lots of FUN Concession/food things at the EDISON Little Olympics.
More information to follow, but we couldn't wait to let you know! Share with a friend!!

Mrs. Jones's first grade class became Cloud Spotters this week as they learned about three different cloud formations (cumulus, stratus, and cirrus). These science activities help develop their observation skills and spark curiosity about the natural world. By identifying different types of clouds, students begin to understand weather patterns and how clouds play a role in our atmosphere. Through fun, hands-on activities like drawing cloud types or making weather journals, Mrs. Jones’s class is building a strong foundation in early science education.

More Peep fun from Mrs. Espolt's class!

Our first graders took on a very special project- caring for their very own Peep! Each student was given a Peep to look after and write about, practicing responsibility and creativity. They even shared adorable pictures of their Peeps on all their adventures! We loved seeing their imaginations come to life through stories and snapshots! Great job, first grade!

March is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month
Today, our students had the incredible opportunity to learn about diversity, inclusion, and strength from someone who knows it firsthand.
Former Edison student, Jacop Yingst, returned to our school to read a story and answer questions about what it’s like living with cerebral palsy. His honesty, kindness, and courage helped our students understand the importance of empathy and celebrating differences.
Thank you, Jacop, for being an inspiration and reminding us that every story matters!
