❤️ PRE-K WAS SEEING RED TODAY! ❤️ Our Pre-K kiddos had so much fun celebrating our Color of the Week — RED! 🍎🚒🍓❤️ From wearing our favorite red outfits to enjoying some fun, hands-on activities, we filled our day with lots of RED learning and smiles! ❤️ Learning colors is so much more fun when we can see it, wear it, play with it, and experience it together! 🎸🐾 We’re Rockin’ Our First Week of School! 🐾🎸 Our first week was all about Pete the Cat, and we had a GROOVY time learning, creating, and getting back into the school routine! 💙 👟 We rocked through school with Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes 🔘 Had lots of fun with Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons 😎 And learned to look on the bright side with Pete the Cat and His Magic Sunglasses! Mrs. Morgan is an important part of our ECC team, working alongside students, families, and teachers to help our little Pirates strengthen their communication skills and grow in confidence. Her patience, knowledge, and caring heart make such a difference in the lives of the students she serves. ⚠️ IMPORTANT UPDATE ⚠️ Due to the current power outage, Home Alone will be CLOSED today. All students who normally attend Home Alone will need to be picked up from school. Please make arrangements for your child to be picked up. Thank you for your patience and understanding! 💜💛

⚠️ ECC POWER OUTAGE UPDATE ⚠️ The electricity is currently out at both ECC and Edisonl sites, which means our phones and other forms of communication are not working at this time. If you would feel more comfortable picking up your child, you may do so. Please be patient with our staff as we work through dismissal without our normal communication systems. We will share updates as soon as we are able. Thank you for your patience and understanding! 💜💛

Today was our first day back, and we are so happy to be getting back into the swing of things! Thank you to everyone for your patience, flexibility, and cooperation as we begin another wonderful school year. We would also like to send out a few friendly reminders: • If your kindergarten student will be eating breakfast, please let the staff member know as your child is getting out of the car. Please remind your child to place their backpack on their assigned number on the playground, go directly to the cafeteria for breakfast, and then return to the playground afterward. • During afternoon pickup, please leave the handicapped parking area on 10th Street open and available for families who need access to it. • Please remember to display your child’s car tag in the front windshield during pickup. This helps our line move more quickly and safely. • For the safety of all students, please remain in your vehicle during drop-off and pickup times. Our staff members will gladly assist children as they unload and load into vehicles. • If you need to buckle your child into a car seat, we ask that you pull forward and move to the side so traffic can continue flowing smoothly. • As a safety precaution, please do not approach staff members while they are directing traffic and moving the car rider line. Their attention must remain focused on the safety of all students. • Please do not take your child from the line until a staff member has dismissed them. • Walk-up students will be dismissed after the car rider line has been completed. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe and make arrival and dismissal run as smoothly as possible. As we prepare for our first day back tomorrow, we would like to thank everyone in advance for your patience and cooperation during drop-off and pick-up times. Please help us keep traffic moving safely and efficiently by remembering the following: • Please be mindful of the handicap loading zone on Tenth Street during drop-off and pick-up. • We ask that parents avoid blocking driveways while waiting in the car rider line. • Please have your car tag displayed in your window during afternoon pick-up. This will help our staff move the line as smoothly and quickly as possible. • The map below shows the designated drop-off locations for each grade level. To help ensure a smooth transition for all students, parents will not be permitted inside the building on the first day of school. Please be prepared to say your goodbyes at the car. Staff members will be available to assist students with unloading and getting safely to their classrooms. Thank you for helping us make the first day a great one.
